Every first Friday downtown Franklin hosts the Franklin Art Scene art crawl. It’s a chance for folks to be artsy fartsy and tour the art galleries and studios of downtown Franklin and The Factory. You can ride the cute free trolley on the tour as it stops at all the studios and galleries. But what most peeps don’t know is that at the factory you can actually drop your kids off at Third Coast Clay, the awesome make-your-own pottery place. Yep. Drop the kids off, let them make something, get a glass of wine and tour the galleries and studios at The Factory. What a fun successful night in the studio. I always love using my “SOLD” stickers
Right now I am busy creating getting ready for next month’s event. I love summer because things move just a little slower and I gives me time to think about what I want to create next.

About The Artist

Hi! As an artist, I enjoy finding the beauty in the rustic, old, and I love anything with texture. Born in small town Alabama and inspired by all things Southern, I have an impasto style of painting that is very unique and one that I have developed over the past 10 years as a working artist. It is my hope that my paintings can be appreciated for the aesthetic qualities and rustic chic compositions, all while capturing the viewers imagination. You can catch me most days working in my studio located in The Factory at Franklin in historic Franklin, Tennessee. I received my BFA from Auburn University and also studied fine art abroad at the Chelsea School of Art and Design and Central St. Martins School of Art and Design in London, England. Be sure to follow me on facebook and twitter to stay connected! Thanks for stopping by!
