Meet the Artist

Hi, I’m Deann—an artist, storyteller, and collector of moments that matter.
Years ago, I traded in my corporate heels for paintbrushes, stepping into a life shaped by creativity, risk, and calling. For over a decade, I worked out of an open studio tucked inside a once-abandoned stove factory. Today, my work lives in my gallery on Main Street in historic Franklin, Tennessee, just outside Nashville—where it has been voted Best Art Gallery in Franklin.
My work is built on the belief that art should make you feel something. Through layers of texture and movement, I create pieces that are meant to connect—pieces that hold emotion, spark memory, and stay with you long after the moment passes.
Formally trained at Auburn University and The Chelsea School of Art & Design, I paint with a palette knife, building rich, tactile layers reminiscent of tree bark, worn wood, and peeling barn paint.
Over the years, my work has been collected by more than 30,000 clients and has earned hundreds of five-star reviews. I’ve been honored to be featured by Anthropologie and recognized by Nashville Lifestyles as a Women in Business honoree.
At home, life is just as full and textured. I live with my family on a mini farm in Brentwood, Tennessee, where I paint from a renovated barn studio surrounded by dogs, chickens, and the everyday beauty that continues to inspire my work.
If you find yourself in Franklin, I’d love for you to stop by the gallery and experience it in person.
